Summer in the high Sierra
We take a break from running the dogs during the hot months of July and August. But the Snowlion team stays active with daily swimming & hiking during their 'vacation.' There are plenty of creeks and lakes nearby and all our Alaskan Malamutes are excellent swimmers. As soon as it cools down a bit in September, we'll start running the team with the ATV, gradually increasing their distance in anticipation of sledding season.
